Machining Industrial Quality Copper
Lugs, Adapters, and Connectors
Machining industrial grade copper since 1992, American Power Connection Systems has the knowledge to machine almost any lug, adapter, and connector.
Specializing in the machining of copper lugs, copper adapters, and copper connectors, American Power Connection Systems understands the demands of the electrical market. Using only industrial grade copper, we have a commitment to superior quality and customer satisfaction.
We use copper because of its dexterity, ductility, and malleability properties. Using our machining capabilities, we create machined copper lugs, adapters, and connectors to bridge electrical circuits, no matter the shape required.

Quality Copper Machining
We use Copper C110 for our products, an internationally maintained standard for copper which means our customers only receive industrial quality products. Copper C101 and C102 are available upon request.
Chemical Properties of Copper C110:
Excellent corrosion resistance. Susceptible to galvanic corrosion when coupled with iron, aluminum, magnesium, lead, tin, and zinc. Great resistance to atmospheric, brackish water, seawater, and non-oxidizing acid corrosion. Avoid heating in oxidizing atmospheres and or exposing to oxidizers.
Physical Properties of Copper C110:
- Density: 8.92 g/cm3
- Melting Point: 1083°C
- Modulus of Elasticity: 117GPa
- Electrical Resistivity: 0.0171 x 10-6Ωm
- Thermal Conductivity: 391.1W/mK
- Thermal Expansion: 16.9 x 10-6/K
